Closing thoughts: everyone seems to agree that Rocket League has some insane potential, and if it could be capitalized on it could be the bridge between traditional sports and esports
Going to a model without teams (especially ones who've been here for years) is not the way to make this happen

I also know now that Ruler to GenG is official for 2025 but was it when this podcast happened or was that an accidental leak?

Ferra's process for deciding the French team sounds exactly like what it is in international soccer actually
6 players got called up, 3 get the start. Unfortunately because the tournament only allows 3 players we won't know who got called up and they won't get to travel, but love the methodology

With this whole decal discussion I can't help but think how much Sypical has helped the SSG brand
If Epic allowed SSG to just do an exact replica of their original decal for 2025 they could fund their roster for the whole year

I'm obviously not at the highest level but I get wanting to drive a whole different car. Switching decals between the same car type I've never felt much difference, but I tried to use the Honda civic after being hired by a Honda supplier but I could not play the same in that car

I can promise you that I would've never watched Rainbow6 if SSG weren't in it. I wouldn't have bought an Xbox to play Halo Infinite if SSG wasn't in HCS.

The salary discussions of OCE being impacted by orgs coming over is also super important. PWR is definitely the biggest org but chiefs disappeared for a while and Ground Zero had a more developmental roster this year
Without broadcasts I can't imagine trying to run an org down there
