Low tide heatwaves reduce growth and survival of intertidal organisms

A mesocosom low tide HW and a field transplantation was applied to seagrass-clam assemblages

Seagrass-clam facilitations were stronger with higher temperatures but were hampered by eutrophic conditions

🌿 Students + seagrass + hands-on fieldwork = inspiring learning in action!

Master’s students from the Ecosystems and Marine Bioproduction and Aquaculture, Environment, Society programmes joined our team in Bourgneuf Bay to map #seagrass meadows & their bivalve communities

So a man indicted on war crimes, along with his principal armourer, propose a peace deal to the people they have persecuted and whom they haven't consulted and propose a supra-government led by a brainless narcissist and everyone seems to think that, basically, this is the best we can do. Correct?

Characterising the spectral reflectance of goose barnacle and mussel spat is essential for assessing their potential discriminability in remote sensing detection.

They were successfully classified using both multivariate statistical methods and machine learning.

Yes, we have done field experiments in Galicia evidencing that salinity drops increased mortality of commercial clams, even after a recovery period. We also observed that survival of clams was greater in the presence of the seagrass Zostera noltei than in bare sediment. dx.doi.org/10.3354/meps...
