Hunting with dogs was supposed to be banned 20 years ago, but in reality it never stopped. Hunts have continued to chase and kill wild animals as if the law never changed.

Thames Water must be VERY confident that they won’t be charged/held to account (because in the U.K. rich people aren’t) and that they can carry on regardless.
(And we still say in UK that “no one is above the law” - no one that’s not rich or isn’t Prince Andrew, that is)
