It turns out that not all ice is created equal. Ice rinks are calibrated specifically for different sports, and at the Olympics these sport specifics are tightly controlled by the eventβs "ice meisters."

Iβve actually never noticed this but I donβt pay particular attention to post boxes. The new State was destitute upon its foundation following the Easter Rising, War of Independence and Civil War in quick succession but you would think they would have scraped them off at least.
