Vehicles that are abandoned due to an ICE detention and towed to the City's impound lot will be released to their owners or a representative at no cost.

I am still so mad. Mad a mother, wife, daughter, friend, and poet is gone. Mad the world got that much darker today. Mad about the misinformation and lies. But images like this give me hope. We are not hopeless and we shall not be helpless. We shall overcome.

There were people in 1970 who thought the student protesters at Kent State deserved it when they were shot to death.
I’m reminding myself of that so I don’t fall into denial and imagine the sadistic glee I’m seeing on X about the ICE shooting is new. It’s not.
It’s a strand in our cultural fabric.
