My mother's brother is called Tom. Yet, her phone still auto-corrects his name to 'Tomatoes'. This results in me getting text messages like "I was talking to tomatoes" and "got a lift into town from tomatoes" etc. Interested to hear if anyone else has this problem.

Currently reading a grammar book (I know). Well done to the author, Annette Lyon, for being able to include this story.

I did see the Beatles 1966 in New York and the stadium was not sold out, tickets where expensive but it was a birthday present for me. 17.I did also see 3 Eras tour concerts with my daughter and grand daughter,I bought the tickets online at face value for 86€ and 94€.I do not think that was too much

Fun fact: Taylor Swift’s ‘(Taylor’s Version)’ was influenced by John Updike’s ‘Roger’s Version’

Interesting to consider, in today's money, how much would you have been willing to pay to have seen The Beatles at Shea stadium or Dylan at the Manchester Free Trade Hall? www.theguardian.com/music/2026/f...
‘Tickets have become status symbols’: from Harry Styles to Taylor Swift, why is live music bigger and more expensive than ever?
Styles is playing a record 12 nights at Wembley stadium and 30 at Madison Square Garden, as demand for big artists soars – and audience expectation along with it

I was minding my business,
Lifting some lead off the roof of the Holy Name church.
It was worthwhile living a laughable life
To set my eyes on the blistering sight…
A Pomeranian in a tutu adding to the gaiety of this outing to big Tesco.

I have cancelled my Amazon Prime account in protest over the Melania documentary and Cold Turkey slipping down the charts.
