Standing in line at Zürich airport, greeted by @audermarspiguet.bsky.social wall ad.

Nothing says 150 years of Swiss watchmaking like… a cow with a massive udder?

Really? Is this luxury or did the AI slip?

First time I'm at the Sagrada Familia in #Barcelona

So sad to see that besides this accomplishment the area around it is what I would call the food court of #BCN

Sitting in a train and noticing this little note above the power outlet. How many people actually know the power draw of their laptop in Watts? What is this supposed to tell people?

What comes to your mind when you read this license plate? What does it say?

Let me know in the comments.

Thanks to AI, so many feel they became experts in specific fields.

Dunning Kruger effect in full swing.

Today I passed a Hifi store where a father with his young son was standing and looking at the Hifi equipment in the shopping window. The son looked at a speaker and said: "Dad, look at this powerbank!". #nocomment #welcometothefuture

Yesterday I had my first Clementine and my first Christmas cookie of the season. Just saying.

The other day I was waiting at a red light. The car in the front suddenly started driving off. A second later the traffic light 🚦turned green. #ExplainThisToMe

How hopeful should I be that AI will help me in compressing the first version of my (hopefully soon to be released) paper on Future Archaeology from 22 pages 😱 to something more digestible?

Let me know. Curious about your thoughts.

Or would you rather prefer to read 20+ pages?

I'm reviewing the first version of my paper on #futurearchaeolgoy and realized that the word #beautiful appears only once. Time to fix this!

Today I ate five "Milchschnitte" while writing a paper about Future Archaeology. I think it helped.

I find it somehow funny when someone driving a Tesla registered in Essen (Germany) has a custom license plate EGO...

Uh boy. Looking at what sneakers people are wearing today I wish I still had my L.A. Gear from the 90s.

#lagear how did you miss out on this opportunity for a real comeback?

I still haven't watched Black Mirror 🪞 and I'm not planning to.

Almost daily, someone asks if I'm also using AI tool XY — their latest discovery. The assumption? That everyone already knows about it (and actually wants to use it). 😂

Trying to balance an increasing number of interesting papers with my weekend plans! 📚 This week is the first time I've had to create a "Weekend reading" folder. Is it a good sign or not? 🤔 #WeekendReading

Today someone shared how hard it is to care for their elderly parents but said humanoid robots will help soon. Why are we building robots for tasks we're good at instead of ones we're not? Are we getting the thing with the robots wrong? 🤔 #AI #robotics #future

Today I was in chat with #microsoft with regards to #NDI not being supported in MS Teams free when transitioning from #Skype, which had NDI support for free. This is what the Microsoft support person said. 🙈

I often hear people who've switched to Mac or iPhone years ago being the loudest critics of other systems. Yet, they have the least experience with them (in current state) and tend to push their views on others instead of listening. Dogmatic approaches are never good. #OpenMind
