Earlier this week a farm worker union leader was kidnapped by ICE in Washington state, Alfredo 'Lelo' Juarez. Next weekend a coalition of Independent Unions in Portland will be hosting a rally at City Hall to bring attention to this attack on the labor movement.

Being a union organizer doesn't mean wearing a chimney sweep/Newsies hat, or a suit & tie. Much like working class we aren't a caricature or a monolith.

Getting into the habit of using this more, and giving really exciting updates on the independent labor movement in the Pacific Northwest :)

Corporate America seems pretty convinced that liberal minded cultural dominance is at an end and feel liberated by casting off socially conscious pretenses. I just came back from a trip to LA last week and it's heartbreaking to see parts of my hometown on fire, this area is sooo prone to them. With reduction in fire services and absent a massive engineering plan, this is vicious and painful cycle

As a cis guy being she/her'd is always amusing bc in a sense it's good, shows thoughtfulness & inclusiveness. But it's personally awkward bc I'm absolutely terrible trans representation. I'm far from feminine in my mannerisms.
