The Republican reconciliation bill which makes massive cuts to Medicaid in order to pay for huge tax breaks for billionaires is not just bad public policy.

It is not just immoral.

It is a death sentence for struggling Americans.

The US desperately needs more doctors, engineers & highly educated workers. But we’re telling students that if they want a higher education, they have to go into debt.

Other countries understand how important it is to invest in their young people. We should be doing the same.
