Yes, UPS. When there is power, they bypass. The switchover is instant.

Nother topic - holy shit - "Deny, defend, depose" on the bullet casings. The revolution has begun. Possibly the most eloquent assassination ever. I wonder who is short United Healthcare.😎

Add more batteries for more capacity. The LFP(LiFePO4) batteries are good for 3000+ charge cycles. These are infinitely better than anything that has gone before.

Not much skill required. Hook up battery, plug in inverter. However, you can also get prebuilt ones that are very good. Anker and Ecoflow are two of the biggies. Scroll down for different sizes. Figure out how many watts your stuff draws, divide the watt-hours capacity and get hours.

Commercial UPSs are worthless. For about $1.2k I put this together. Instant switchover, runs all the computers, office lights and stuff, TV, water pump for at least 18 hours. Best investment ever. Lead-acid batteries suck.

The Heyer Pyramid of how long you can survive without life's essentials:
Air: 4 minutes
Wifi: 10 mins - 8 hours (but don't push it)
Water: One day
Food: Weeks
Pro tip from one who loses power all the time: Get a big lithium battery and an inverter/charger and make a circuit for all your info-tech.

Contributing to the statistics that put the US 61st in longevity. In life and in death. I feel sorry for him and his family though. No one deserves this.
