The pictures and reporting from the No Kings protests gives me chills and choked up a bit. This is what America is capable of and what we need to keep up to resist the regime. To see that we weren't alone was inspiring. There is nothing more American than standing up for what's right.

The United States Military Academy has just eliminated all Cadet clubs and activities for POC. Most of these have existed for decades like the Society of Black Engineers. They were there when I was a Cadet in 1987. All of the religious ones remain. This isn’t DEI. It’s white Christian Nationalism.

As an activist, I noticed that most ordinary Americans suffer from a weird sense of total personal helplessness.
It’s as if we’re all TAUGHT we “can’t fight City Hall” or “ you’ll never change that” or “all politicians are the same,” or “nobody cares.”
None of that is true.

As a casual non-white observer, it’s so bizarre to see folks work so hard to try to prove their superiority over someone like me when they could spend that time actually bettering their own lives and…I don’t know, be happy instead of miserable fucks.
