Genesis version of Shaq Fu is done. It played a lot better than the snes version with more fighters in story mode but it was a lot easier also with a 6 button set up. Doesn't hold up to what I remember as a kid however which I remember loving. 2/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Finally tortured myself and beat Shaq Fu (Snes). It is painful with poor controls and frames. I resorted to doing enough damage and letting the timer run out because after the first 2 fights, it became painful. 1.5/5 Now onto the genesis version. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Beat Echo Night (ps1 via emulator) tonight from FromSoft. Game is super cryptic & some areas were pure bs at times. Overall great horror game. Kept me on the edge of my seat and wish Fromsoft would revisit the horror genre again. Excited for the sequel. 4/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Finally finished FF7 after years of starting it and dropping it. The cutscenes were top notch, didn't care for the beginning few hours but after reaching the overworld, the game grew on me. Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy was a extremely fun one. The ps4 version is the ps2 version with rewind support & I couldn't have picked a better game for platinum #100 and a rebeat. It's controls are a bit clunky however but it's still a great game. 4/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Goat Simulator 3 platinum in the bag. Brings me up to 99 platinums and already have the 100th ready to pop once I defeat the final boss in it. Never thought I would get the 100 plats before the end of the year but here we go!

Goat Simulator 3 was a amazingly fun sandbox game. They took everything that made Goat Sim 1 great & improved upon it. The little nods to different movies and games made me laugh quite a few times. Its a goat for sandbox ragdoll titles for me. 5/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

My new favorite glitch in Skate. No idea how I pulled it off to get it to stick but I jumped from the ground and hopped on the spiral ramp thing they added and ended up climbing the thing like this. Took a video too on my ps4 but it seemed to get out of it by jumping again. 🤣

Doom 2016 was a gory good time. The game kept the insane rip n tear feeling and dialed it up to 11. The bosses give a good challenge even on easy, and overall it was a really solid reboot. Skate. doesn't have a traditional story with credits but they have a main tour which serves as a tutorial and shows you the best spots. Completed it and it was actually really helpful to learn tricks and the finale was a epic climb to the top of the city. 3/5 #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

When you are excited to hop into the new Skate, finally get in after 10 minutes in the queue and then get through the tutorial to just get booted to see this. Off to a great start it seems and why I hate when games are always online. 😂

No real end to this game but was a nice easter egg for Doom 3 in Doom 2016. Each punch you get 10 points & every 6th you get 100 points for killing the turkey in Super Turbo Turkey Puncher arcade cabinet. Set my own high score. 2/5 since it was just press x. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

One of the hardest trophies in Diablo 4 done! Hardcore level 50 took many attempts and was honestly scary with disconnects and some extremely close calls early on. Now to finish paragon 200 on core and the platinum is mine! Let's go! #Diablo4

Took Polykill the necromancer through the campaign of Diablo 4 on core after endless deaths on hardcore. Overall the story is great. Has a few difficulty spikes but overall it was enjoyable. If it wasn't always online however it would be a lot better due to server ping constantly. 4/5 #justbeatit

Pokemon Yellow retroachievements mastered! It was a fun one especially the beat the elite 4 and champion with only Pikachu achievement which took about 8 attempts losing to the rival. Overall though it was a solid set and a fun way to revisit it.

Pokemon Yellow will always be a classic for me. For a 3rd title to go alongside red and blue, it brought new stuff like new in game trades, Jesse and James along other things. Might be nostalgia but it still remains a 5/5 for me. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social
