Here's my painting of the Chevron Garage in Stafford from a few years ago. This building has recently been demolished along with the Universal Factory across the road which I've also painted. I've ended up documenting the history of the local area!

I've had a day in the studio today due to travel plans being disrupted by snow. I finished off a commission and then made a few alterations to my last oil painting. This is 'Derryvaugh Mountains' and is inspired by a trip to County Donegal last year.

Here's one from a few years ago; 'Union', acrylic painting on panel. I love to see nature taking over the places we leave behind as well as the effects of time on abandoned buildings. The painting I am currently working on is very much in this vein.

A small pencil drawing featuring an abandoned house I discovered when travelling in County Donegal. There were a few buildings like this dotted about the landscape. I'm quite pleased with this one and will be doing an alternative version using colour.

Another older piece of work found when moving into my new studio. This one is ‘Last Days’ (acrylic paint on panel). It features a row of houses that were by the Riverside Recreation Centre in Stafford, a place I used to visit a lot as a kid.
