In the 1980s, Solidarity was a broad anti-authoritarian social movement, using methods of civil resistance to advance the causes of workers' rights and social change. The Government attempted to destroy the union through the imposition of martial law and the use of political repression.

I as an American, encourage Canada and Mexico to stand firm and do not negotiate with the current administration in the USA. Stand up against these tariffs and keep your tariffs in place.

It’s hard to believe that so many generations studied the effects of McCarthyism and the “Red Scare” and yet here is the US siding up with the communist regimes. Doesn’t Marco Rubio look like he’s betrayed his entire family’s heritage? “Have you no decency sir….”

Can’t we start building coalitions in congress? Moderate Dems and Reps would outnumber the fringes. They’d get things done and be easily reelected just by doing their jobs.

What are the proactive issues that would possibly allow Dems and Reps to meet in the middle? Are Democrat leaders promoting these publicly as a way to show Americans what is working for the public?
FYI: I know Musk and Trump are billionaires who think only of themselves. What else are we saying?

70 million Americans on Medicare. Trump got 75 million votes. Are republicans ready to screw their entire voter base?

Today I saw an elderly man wearing a make America great again at the grocery store. He was struggling using the self check out and I noticed he used an EBT card.

Democrats need to balance the billionaire rhetoric to remind everyone that the poor will become poorer because of scarcity of funding.

So let’s just start saying it. Musk is more powerful than Trump.

Maybe that will just piss Trump off enough to get rid of him.

“What you do speaks so loudly I cannot hear what you say.” Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Good idea when reading the news. Focus on what is done rather than what is said, or said about others.
