What do you do when your student works on federal grid deployment strategies?

You invite them to present. So happy to have Peggy Giordano from DOE's Grid Deployment Office, and VLGS 1L, present on the GDO's programs to create a stronger, bigger, and more resilient transmission grid.

Welcomed @justinmikulka.bsky.social from @oilfieldwitness.bsky.social into my Oil & Gas class to talk about the future of the oil and gas industry, unfunded liabilities, and pulling the "emergency brake" on methane emissions. Conversations with experts also make for a better learning environment.

Proud to share all the great things that our faculty, staff, and students have been working on this semester.
Check out our Fall 2024 Newsletter for updates on a new hire in our Energy Clinic, bringing our Alumni in Energy Symposium to Climate Week, groundbreakings on Clinic low-income solar and affordable housing projects, and much more. It has been a busy semester in Eaton House.
