Like all our members, we at IBT are dismayed by the cuts to the aid budget.

This cut to aid has only been possible because of low levels of public support for aid - the result of years of hostile coverage by papers like Daily Mail.

AID CUTS: It’s hard to believe that this is a Labour government. What do they actually stand for?? I would have expected lots of ministers to resign over this but they are all staying put. Quite shocking. Together with dozens of other NGO leaders I have signed this letter to the Government.
