One of the reasons that I love living in Italy is that there are always villas, lakes, and cultural events to go to, usually less than 30 mins from our house! Yester we went to Villa Litta in Lainate for a history/dance tour of the villa and it's historic family.

Things that are bringing me joy lately: a vintage van that matched my outfit. Walking home from work at 6:15(and it's still light out), a cute shop dog, my son's VD day gift to his girlfriend (flowers and chocolate covered strawberries that he made for her❤️.) It's the little things really.

I haven't felt like doing much of anything for the last 3 weeks. I've been sick and skipped sewing class, no inspiration.Today at the market I loved these fabrics so much, I want to make a patchwork skirt or dress from them. Just like that, a spark of joy! Sometimes it's the little things, right?

There's something so sweet and comforting about moss. I especially love the bright yellow-green moss which tells us that Spring is coming (albeit a bit too early) poor Nature. Climate change is really messing with them.

Lazy,rainy Saturday. I made the executive decision to skip sewing class this morning and stay in bed. I wish that I was still cuddling with these two cuties instead of reading about plane crashes and low key sneaky coup attempts. It's too much.
