I’m not blind to the amazing suffering, panic, and cruelty of these ice raids. But I do see a bright side. Once food is unaffordable, people might respect Jose & Ausnecia more.

I worry that blue sky can’t be real competition at this time. Mostly what I’m seeing are more “starter packs” of like minded people but very little actual content. I hope this improves.

Regarding the unfolding story of president Musk’s support for genius visas, and Darth Vivic’s comments about American students: I think we have an opportunity. There’s a kernel of truth. Our schools are pathetic and our culture has emphasized having stuff over learning. That’s fixable.

I’m doing some continuing ed on a school of psychotherapy. It’s a good theory and an effective way to think. BUT… calling something “evidence based” doesn’t make it so. One 30 member study is not proof. It’s a little data. No, I don’t want to name it.
