It's truly special to see a cat jump over an open baby gate. She could clearly see the gate was open, yet she still became an upside-down u shape to bloop right over where the gate would have been.

Got my daughter one of those block sorting boxes with the different shapes on the lid. She just pulls the lid off to drop the blocks in the bin. I'd say she's an out-of-the-box thinker, but it's... Y'know... In the box. Still...

Nearly finished vol 4 of Erha and gyat the fluff is so lovely. I know pain and angst is soon, but I'm just gonna stay on my fluffy cloud a little longer.

Watching my daughter reveal her cleverness is really something. She'll trick my husband into holding her toys so he's distracted while she grabs his phone. If she isn't given a cup in her bath because she drinks the bath water she'll use a toy to scoop it up.

We did the starter Pokémon choice for our daughter. She chose Charmander, then grabbed Squirtle and Pikachu after. I couldn't be prouder and I'm so happy she likes the plushies.

There are times I'm happy I'm having an influence on my infant daughter, like when she picks up a book and starts "reading" on her own.
Then there are the times I worry a little about the example I'm setting, like when she covers herself in pasta sauce and throws up the horns \m/

Are leafblower operators payed by the hour? This flock has roosted outside my unit for 2 hours on and off. I don't think enough leaves have aggregated to merit that long.
