Today I added differently colored taming disks to Tamamon.
They're purely cosmetic, so you can use whichever ones you like best!
The catch rate is influenced only by the berries you feed wild Tamamon beforehand.
I already have a lot of disk designs planned ✨

Hi hi, I’m alive 😅 I’ve been grinding on the demo. I’m targeting this summer/fall.
Here’s a quick look at something I added recently: a hotbar for quick swaps between party members, moves, and items.

I added a Korok-style micro puzzle system to my monster taming game :)
Completing the puzzle earns mysterious feathers which can be spend to increase your critical catch rate. Here's a look.

I'm currently in gray-box land, prototyping the demo’s first area. 🚧
Mini-puzzle: four lit torches open the temple. 🔥 I realized there are tons of ways to implement this in #GodotEngine.

Hi :) Quick Tamamon update ✨ I've added:

- a swimming dash 🌊
- a climbing dash 🧗
- hopping of climbable terrain

I hope that this will allow for more interesting and engaging climbing and swimming sections. Please let me know what you think!

Bluesky I need your help!
It always annoyed me how items would simply hop on water like on a hard surface so I added some simple buoyancy physics. Does the effect look convincing enough for now?

Bluesky I need your help! After a break from my dream monster taming game I decided to pivot from a mobile platform release and instead focus on a PC release.

This is the last interaction before the player leaves the tutorial cave they fell into at the start of the game :)
Next I would like to polish this prototype with nice pixel art, music and sound effects so I can release it as a demo :)

At the beginning of the game, the professor want's to show you some ancient writings. It's the precursor to an accident which starts off your adventure :)

Hi Bluesky! I will repost a few of the most recent updates of my monster taming game: Super Smash Bros is a big inspiration for the combat system: The combat is an interactive turn-based, ring-out-based system where monsters get knocked away further the less HP they have 🙂
