Lot of teachers with students with big problems like depressions and finding it difficult to find their way in life.
Great to hear how these teachers use games as a distraction from the biggest sadness and as way to connect.

I think this will be the year that deck building becomes less common in new games, and we see the resurfacing of something else as a favorite mechanism. Dexterity will rise, too. #gamestrodamus

I work in a SEN school which has a high population of autistic students. The practice of social skills are incredibly important and games (of all different types) give students a safe space to collaborate, compete, interact, and have fun together.

I was invited to a group that meets once a month and has a game day: playing boardgames from 11.00-23.00, diner included. What a great idea!! In my head I now would be able to play at least 20 games 😁 but ended up playing 4. Which was very reasonable, because 3 of them were new to me.
