🥁🥁🥁 We have observed photon blockade in a cavity with multiple emitters i.e. a Tavis-Cummings system!

Collaboration with Berkeley Lab Advanced Quantum Testbed and MIT Lincoln Labs on analog quantum simulation to probe cavity QED in microwave domain.

Exciting work with @markwilde.bsky.social where we take advantage of the exponential quantum speedup to simulate a system dear to our experiment: an open system of a cavity with multiple non-resonant emitters

This morning in npj Nanophotonics you can read about the first wafer-scale (up to 5-inch!) fabrication of SiC photonics devices with integrated color centers. Thanks Sridhar, Victoria, Pranta, Alex and Scott for making this fun triangular exploration happen

Could one make an integrated beam splitter in triangular geometry? Our model and preliminary fabrication in silicon carbide indicate a positive answer. This is cool because color centers can be seamlessly integrated in such a platform!
