Just received this: A truly fantastic dissertation by Jonatan Nästesjö on how postdocs navigate their careers. I was lucky enough to serve as an external critic at the final dissertation seminar in Lund. Hopefully this book - and the three articles it builds on - receives the attention it deserves.

Does it actually make a difference to have more women on a committee? Great article drawing on +30 years of meeting transcripts of the Federal Reserve's Federal Open Market Committee shows: Deliberations are more thorough and engaged with more gender-balanced committees. doi.org/10.1177/0018...
