Mom's assisted living facility *exploded* 3 days ago, 7 months after she moved in. Now under investigation for at least a month. She is safe at a nearby facility, but has no belongings & needs a long-term place for the 2nd time this year. I empathize deeply with her trauma. Also: F. M. L.

The Democratic party money-making machine sure isn't taking a day off. (Fear-mongering at the same volume as ever.) Sure, they need money to be the opposition party, but I'm not throwing good money after bad. Until I see more elected officials-including my own-taking direct action, not a GD dime.

Anyone in Denver who is going to protests, my mom, who is in assisted living, wanted to do something for the cause, so we (and a couple of friends) made protest signs. If you want any, please DM me. We'd love to see them get used. (Please share!)

I saw something yesterday that resonated with me, so I'm paraphrasing. Trans folk (and immigrants, and others in Round One...) are not canaries in a coal mine. We don't need them to die to know we are unsafe. They are not disposable. (And neither are canaries.)
