The most important thing I can tell everyone that I've learned from being a YouTuber who explains how stuff works is that each and every time I thought "this is common knowledge and doesn't need to be explained" I was wrong.

Restoreseas is a project I work for on marine restoration. We've just started our Bluesky account ☺️ Go check it out! I'm the one posting on there as well!
Meet coral scientist Marcellina Rola!

During her Master's degree, she studied the microbiome of cold-water #corals 🪸 at the @nhmwien.bsky.social and @ccmar.bsky.social

Marine forests e.g. coral reefs, seaweed banks and seagrass meadows are biodiverse ecosystems, essential for a healthy ocean. However, they are disappearing at unprecedented rates. RESTORESEAS aims at improving marine forests' restoration in the Atlantic coasts. #marineforests

Scientists, academics, researchers: We’re excited to share that @altmetric.com is now tracking mentions of your research on Bluesky! 🧪
There are already many articles for which there is more attention on Bluesky than on other comparable micro-blogging sites, meaning the academic community and the general public have clearly adopted Bluesky as one of its core places to disseminate and discuss new research.

A Place of Joy.
