What is the point of blocking? It does take time and effort AND the result is totally worth it. This shawl is pinned for blocking on one side only. This lace takes a long time to do and we want to see all the detail when we wear it. I will be steam blocking this shawl once I'm finished.

Another new item in the ship is this wonderful market bag. Made of alpaca/silk/camel it is soft and light and strong!
