This year I illustrated my first board book, Manny Matches the Weather. 💖 I also experimented with new mediums like colored pencils and watercolor, which helped me reconnect with traditional art. It has been lovely and amazing! But digital art is still my fav.😊 #artvsartist2025 #kidlit #kidlitart

Sunday of traditional art! It's not perfect, but it was fun to make something different from my comfort zone. The initial fear? Wasting materials and, of course, a blank page.😅 But once I started, I realized, "Why the stress?" You just tackle it one hen at time — I mean, one step at a time.
