When I was at #UTAustin (89-93, BA History) Glen Maxey @glenmaxey was the only #out gay legislator in #txlege and, although he represented #southaustin he was often on campus speaking with us and leading calls for tolerance, love and acceptance. A legend. And always spoke truth to power.
