This is probably a good starting point for explaining to people why the vast majority of Irish people are opponents of the Gaza genocide and of the Israeli government in general.
I was driving from Dublin to Belfast to visit my then girlfriend, we drove for an hour then got to 'the border' where a British army checkpoint stopped us to ask us our business, and an English kid, maybe 18 or 19, leant into the car with his assault weapon pointed casually at me. In my own country.

@nytimes.com could not get through David Marchese’s interview with Jeremy Strong. The questions were smarmy, his name dropping reeks of insecurity and he self appoints as the sole arbiter of what is interesting about Mr. Strong. Kudos to Strong for sitting through that interview
