As we know politics has a big impact in our life. Political system and varying degrees of control over cultural life, sounds terrible, but very real. For example Chinese government strictly controls media and entertainment and they have their own censorship and state controls.

Media Censorship in China
China’s central government has cracked down on press freedom as the country expands its international influence, but in the internet age, many of its citizens hunger for a free flow of information.

According to a class K-pop hip-hop had three different kinds of eras in cultural appropriation: complete lack of knowledge, called out by fans, and now cultural appropriation minefield. At first K-pop hip-hop area tried to find cool cultures, but the result looked like they try to mock culture.

If I think about how K-pop girl groups were sexualized about 15 years ago and how they are presented now, I would say it is different, but still they sexualize women groups. Before we can say very well like almost every video was sexual and giving fantasies to men, not to women.

I can describe earnings, feminism and Korea - "Women experience a daunting realization that they are not valued as much as their counterparts and their careers are more precarious" (Jonas 2022, 241). I think it is because of the history and fear to have changes in our daily life.

PSY is a good example how the Western world saw K-pop male idols in 2013 - as a comedic one. Psy´s physicality in the video evokes one of the Asian male stereotypes the emasculated and clownish Asian male - funny but sexless - who You can laugh at (Park 2015, 197).

Saying the government "made K-pop" is disrespectful to the artists. In my opinion the government want to help only when the things go well, they do not want to invest something what may not be good deal. And only money will give amazing music? No, You need to have a great people and good industry.

Today I introduce folk singer Kim Min-gi. The government said that Kim´s song "Morning Dew" is very political. That song was closely associated with student activism and Korea's democratic movement during that time, which led to the song being banned by the Park Chung Hee regime.

A social media post about Taecyeon and his non-celebrity girlfriend. The point is that his girlfriend may be in trouble, because Taecyeon's ultimate fans live in their imagination, that he belongs to them. When Idol found a partner, the "pretty world" collapsed.

In my opinion, nationality is very important, but in a decent way and among. A nation would like to represent stars because they have a big value to the world—for example, tourism has grown a lot because of stars.

About perfomance what we watched in a classroom (Korean Gimpsy), Korean traditional music is actually very catchy #old_but_catchy.
I saw western and Korean traditional instruments harmonized together. A guitar with ajaeng and a lot of sogos. At the end of the song they even chuimsae.
