I’m still building content niche sites in 2026. In fact, I’m doubling down. When you understand how SEO works with new GEO backlink strategies, the prospects of such sites become evermore lucrative and highly transformative in terms of how AI can supersede traditional outreach.

While backlinks had a bad reputation within the SEO community, especially amongst high-profile professionals who frowned upon link building schemes, they are of the utmost importance with LLMs today in the new age of GEO with AI now running the show. Even Google Gemini concurs.

Since I’m now paying for Google AI Ultra, I thought I’d give Chrome for iPhone a try, and oddly enough, it feels smoother and faster than Safari, and they both use WebKit. That wasn’t always the case, but since iOS 26 Liquid Glass was released, Safari has taken a performance hit.

The only time you saw Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin using social media was on Google+, and even on there, they fell flat with very sporadic activity.

It’s the middle of November and we amazingly still haven’t used any heat in Florence, Italy. It turns out that living on the top fifth floor of an apartment building is very energy efficient, and cost effective, with the sun shining on us all day, from every angle.
