So... almost died tonight. Heavy rain, large water bodies on the highway, night-time... I was lucky enough to not have other cars close to me and driving 90 instead of 120. I swerved from left lane to middle lane while holding my steering wheel straight. Scariest shit I've ever been through...

Network outage at work is all fun and game until you have to notify the chief to get your time corrected. At least it was only 10 minutes.
On another topic, i swapped my usual sandwich with a salad, not a good idea. Probably more a bad salad choice than anything but my belly isn't happy. 4h left...

Well... we lost many of my coworkers in the past few days... layoffs are mean, man... they targeted specially those still on probation, and it's so unfair as some of them were working better and harder than some that are here since longer... fuck...

PTO approved for december 25th \o/ well I'm still working late shift on the 24th but at least I get to enjoy the 25th. And with the 26th being off, followed by my vacations. I almost have two weeks of vacations for the end of the year!

Holidays always feel too short. Especially when you spend most of it with excruciating back pain and the last days are used to get back into a nightshift mode. Eh, at least I'm wearing those warmed back belt to alleviate the pain. Too bad it cost about 40€ for 6 of them. Yes, they're one time use...

Last hour to go before I'm home and on holidays. Not gonna lie, i need that. 5 and a half month without any vacations is a heavy burden on my mind and my already wrecked body.

No nightshift for about 2 weeks, woohoo. Not gonna lie, even if i like that shift, it messes hard with my energy levels once i get back into a normal schedule. Lucky for me, I'm dealing with some late shifts before getting into morning ones... diving into morning right away would be impossible...

Back to some more night shifts. Brain is having a hard time with the sleep shortage. But the hardest part is going back home, a 25min trip when no/almost no traffic, without a scratch while running on the leftovers of the energy drink that kept me awake for the whole shift...

When i said i was more of a watcher than a talker, i meant it. Been a while. Good thing tho, is that i've had a job for about 5 months now and i'm sometimes doing night shifts, like today. So i might be talking here a bit more often.

Got myself stuck in a loop. I said i would do stuff and share it, so ofc my brain took it as deadline. But stuff happened, and i didn't do it. It stresses me out because i feel myself as a fraud because of it, making me think "i have to do it now !!" and "i don't want to do it because i have to"...
