Today I realized that I made a mistake in where I placed an API request on my front end. My prop handling is all over the place and now I have to dig myself out of this weird hole. BUT all is not lost. Just the time I spent figuring this is 🙃

Today I implemented the foundations for creating and updating the skeletons for automated functions. As a junior I feel like much of this was senior stuff because my little brain cell is FUMING. oh boy this is fun

As gamers, we're used to companies squeezing every last penny out of us:

* Microtransactions
* Season passes
* Loot boxes
* Live service games

But this most recent trend of "Play 3 Days Early if you have the super-duper expensive version" really rubs me the wrong way.

When I over think the construction of features, I start to create flow charts. I made one for RBAC and Feature Flags. I made one for Automations and work flows. I even made one for password resets.

It's like when I panic, I need answers, but I can't ask my senior so I look at funny shapes for truth

I'm motivated purely on telling my younger lazier self that I'm smarter than the nerd that I thought I was and that the things that I think about are far more profound than they ever were. I'd tell my younger self that most of those thoughts never mattered and I should have just "went for it".

As a junior dev, learning industry tools like AWS-SES has been pretty cool! I’ve built templated emails, designed a data model to handle subscriptions, and reused these setups for password resets and account management. Loving the challenge of scalable email solutions

This weekend I shall juggle the stereotypical Thanksgiving Uncle (iykyk) and then plan out my logic for Automations this week. Which one am I more excited for 🤔🤔
