Some positive abortion news! Even if abortion does not make it into Spain's constitution, that the current government thinks this move is good for politics is an excellent sign. Of course "in the constitution" will not = access, but we will take what wins we get.

It's a strange day when I agree with a Pope. I agree we should think about what "pro life" means. I am pro life - I am anti death penalty, anti genocide, pro migrant, anti racist - and pro the life of someone who doesn't feel able to continue a pregnancy

Good news: Northern Ireland is the only part of the UK that has fully decriminalized abortion.
Bad news: several years later, service remains spotty.

Deeply troubling news today from Malta. A 28 year old woman was given a 22 month prison sentence, suspended for 2 years, for having an abortion after procuring medication online. Abortion is STILL illegal in Malta making inhumane rulings like today possible 💔
