Pencil sketch of a woman’s bust profile. This was drawn as a study from a photo, most of the emphasis of texture is spent on the hair and the sleeves. Headshot pencil sketch of a woman. Another photo study, if I remember correctly, a screencap from the movie Mary Queen of Scots. Specifically of Saorise Ronan. Very simple but clean sketch. Pencil sketch of two figures being encompassed by thorny vines. Grapes and flowers bloom from these vines and the female figure, standing behind the other, seems to be using these vines to coronate the male figure. They have very simple clothing vaguely invoking medieval and long antiquated clothing. Headshot sketch of a woman smiling, but where her right eye should be a flower blooms. To the right of the woman is a handwritten quip in some egregiously bad handwriting that says: don’t want to draw the other eye?? Add a flower!

Redraw time! Here’s every version from now —> 2017! This is my blorbo Kiena :) I love her sm she’s a little magic scientist and she proceeds to make that everyone else’s problem 🥰

Captioned in the image she says: “Did you expect a Terris to have never seen battle?” Note: Terris is a fantastical word the author has coined for her narrative and simply means a royal bodyguard. Drawing from 2020, showing a lot of technical improvement from the year prior. The style is using a lot of screen tones and minimally rendered painting. Images is a bust of a woman with blue hair and a cross/cross, blue top. The background is a sunset sky, also made from screentone. She looks amused, flaunting to an unknown audience lightening scars that enclose her forearm up to her clavicle. Caption in the image the woman says “Jealous? Or Scared?” Drawing from late 2017, showing a lot of improvement from the year prior. The style is beginning to show signs of shading and depth, a little more painted and thoughtful with the lighting but still not perfect. First little post as a year in review of my self “portraits” this past year :) 💗

Heavily stylized self portrait with scribble bug eyes, bobble head, minimal textured coloring, and little ambient hearts. A moderately rendered self portrait, still rough around the edges but more serious in attempt and nature. Split dyed hair of brown and red, grey turtle neck, a small smile, and glasses. Little amounts of stylized texture on the cheeks and sketchiness of the line work. Stylized sketch self portrait. Featuring scribbles big eyes, comically large glasses, a bobble head, and turtle neck. A thin overlay of static is washed over the image. A stick figure with an oversized head, little bead eyes and vague shape of hair completes the picture.
