Excited to invite you to submit your latest research on water temperatures to our new #egu26 session on freshwater temperatures:
Are you working with #watertemperatures in freshwater systems?
Are you doing field work, modelling, large-scale analyses, or catchment studies?
Are you studying natural and anthropogenic processes governing fresh water temperatures, and their implications on ecosystems and water resources?

Suspended sediment concentrations in Alpine rivers: from annual regimes to sub-daily extreme events
Abstract. The occurrence of extreme suspended sediment concentrations (SSCs) in rivers can have negative impacts on human infrastructure, water quality, and the health of aquatic ecosystems. However, ...

Meteorological and hydrological transitions are less related than you might think: only 10% and 25% of dry-to-wet transitions propagate to drought-to-flood transitions at a monthly and yearly time scale, respectively.
