Had anyone else noticed banks now charging horrific exchange rates at foreign ATMs? We’ve noticed it at Madrid and now in Greece. A couple of different ATMs here tried to charge me €2 as a fee but also 1.20 as the rate (it’s 1.08). So on a €100 they’re trying to charge $20 essentially in fees.
