Recently I did a cover and when I saw interiors there was plenty of AI (covers are done before final art). Artist has denied it, publisher has denied it, but you cannot lie to me with this crap, I can obviously recognize AI art because it is my job. Obviously, I'm out of the project.

Absolutely! The colorist is part of the art team, so if the penciller/inker gets to sign, so does the colorist. I've even reminded colorist colleagues to sign (if I notice, don't always do🫣), so I'm OK if I'm reminded to add mine if I forgot. Signing means taking responsibility for the work too! 😁
