It's a dev known for not optimizing, on an engine that requires a lot more optimization. If it performs well, fantastic, I look forward to them working with UE5 in the future.

Everyone is hyped because it's Game Freak making modern graphics.
But I'll believe the hype if Game Freak of all devs actually manages to make this an optimized Unreal Engine 5 game.
If they do, not only does it prove they deserve more budget, but other companies have no excuse not to optimize.

Video game leaker Shpeshal Nick, who has been rather hit and miss at leaks, has stated that Wii, Nintendo DS and SEGA CD will be coming to the Nintendo Classics range for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Wii and Nintendo DS will naturally come, but SEGA CD games would be a nice extension of the current SEGA Mega Drive range currently available on the Nintendo Classics range. Shpeshal Nick says a Wii Remote peripheral for Wii games won't need a Wii Sensor Bar to be used, which is handy if true.
