How to apply AI for the automated census of marine megafauna? This was the topic of my seminar at RCO-@brin_indonesia in the framework of @SelamatIJL. Thanks to Pak Udhi @brin_indonesia, @t_goubier @IFI_Indonesia, JL LePennec @ird_fr for opening speeches and to all participants!

Not even one year working for @ird_fr @umrMARBEC and I had the chance to co-lead fieldwork on #dugongs and other #megafauna in West Papua with amazing colleagues @rizkindk @ach_sahri @RegisHocde

So glad about our successfully completed joint French-Indonesian fieldwork on megafauna in West Papua under the umbrella of @SelamatIJL

Our study used aerial surveys to monitor marine megafauna in and out of a MPA in New Caledonia - see our results below !
