After quite a bit of consideration, I am going to announce my return to Warhammer 40k. Some will think the real me is abducted by the Ordo Hereticus. I will be updating and expanding my Dark Angels army for 7th edition, although 90% of what is planned is compatible with 10th as well.

I got the outside of the shield done, added some transfers to the Roman test model and a bit of flock. Now it is ready to move on.

I forgot that I also had a shield for my Roman test model... Just quickly painted the inside, when fully cured, I will do the outside and attach that before sealing the whole model in and starting the shading.

More experiments with the UHU glue. People have said it doesn't work well with water-based acrylics and thus I tried some Tamiya clears, oil paints, an enamel wash and just the glue to see the different effects.

Just trying something new, the UHU blood technique. The AK Blood Effect worked great with it, the GSW Bile, not so much. I need to play around with it more, but this would definitely be a great tool.
