They were never going to cave on extending the subsidies those who thought they would are fooling themselves. I personally don't think they should have given an inch, but then I don't have health care that will double next month. They had a choice of keeping people insured and keeping people fed.

I am so happy about the blue victories this week. Mostly because opening up my BlueSky in recent months is enough to send me into depression. We all know how bad it is and not everyone needs to forecast the apocalypse.

The dems in the senate will likely pass the bill to reopen the government, if given the choice to extend the aca subsidies and letting children go hungry they will feed the children. reds will look at this as a victory, and their stupid voters will agree as they spend their ebt to feed their kids.

I think it's hysterical that they think that illegals who have managed to stay hidden are going to rick getting caught at the SB because the halftime performer speaks Spanish. If noem spent the money on her education instead of making her face look like that she might have a better thought process.

A movie called Civil War came out last year. I thought a lot of it was boring but the actual plot line worked. A president refuses to give up the office sending us to war. in the end the American patriots fought into the oval office and shot him to death. Now that's an ending.

I am over hearing about the guy who got shot, don't care anymore. More importantly, we lost a great one, Robert Redford passed away in his sleep. My first crush was Huble Gardner in The Way we Were.
