Went to paint night at my flgs last night! It was an off week due to the upcoming holiday so it was a pretty small crowd. Still a good time! Painted up this Spinner and tried to work on my highlighting. Particularly on the robes. I think it came out okay! :3

Based my beasties! Used #akinteraxtive 'muddy ground' texture paste for some more texture for a swampy look (not that Hydrix's base left a lot of room for it :p)

More painting! Painted up some warbeasts for the #warmachine journeyman league starting up this week at my flgs. I got some new pearlescent gold paint from #P3 that I wanted to try out. All in all not bad but they could use more contrast. Still learning, still a good duck.

Finished all but the bases on my PanO minis from #infinity! Still have to work on my brush control as I can see lots of places my brush strayed or bumped spots I didn't mean to. Practice is practice! :3

Worked on painting my Infinity folks more last night. I tried doing some highlighting/glazing on the armor and pants. I'm not super thrilled with how it's looking. I might need to re-basecoat those bits and try again :/

Just picked up some 'Ghost' brushes from one my local gaming stores :D I'll have to try them out tonight to see how they feel! White nylon bristles are an interesting look and it should, hopefully, get me better about not overloading a brush to the ferrule. Something I need practice at :P

Went to this month's painting night at my flgs. Picked up a new wet palette since the old one was kinda meh. A couple more paints and a silicone palette too. Spent my time there working on base coating some #infinity minis! Still a decent bit of work ahead but it's a start :3

Finished up basing Kyrrax's command cadre today! These are the last of the lowlands style bases for now I think. I'm thinking of making the bases for Shyryss and friends with a more swampy theme. :3

Based the rest of my #trenchcrusade minis! I think the bases on these came out better than the thralls; at least the rustiness of the mud seems more apparent :3

Last week I got a game of #warmachine in at my LGS with the roomie. It was interesting playing with the store's terrain but it did take a while to set up since we didn't know where anything was :P We played the scenario 'wolves at our heels' at 50pts & I pulled out a win with an assassination run :3

Finished with all but basing on these wyrmspine shadowmancers! :3 Tried my hand at highlights to various levels of success. Gotta keep practicing my brush control. I could also use to buy a new brush that will keep its tip better. #miniature #painting #warmachine

Went to a paint night event held at my LGS last night! Only managed to get a start on these wyrmspine shadowmancers but it's something! Trying to get better at shading and highlighting. Still a lot of practice needed (and on maybe not a bone colour to start :p) #minis #warmachine #painting
