Lost yet another Friend to cancer this week. She was only 59; a riding Instructor who was so knowledgeable and kind. Such a loss. #damncancer It never gets easier, and despite all the progress against cancer, it's just not good enough. RIP Charlotte. 😢 #braincancer #cansky #thankscancer

Cancer patients especially survivors can be grateful they are alive or in remission while also being upset it happened at all,that they needed treatment,surgeries,and have life altering changes to their bodies and finances. Toxic positivity helps no one. #oncsky #cansky #cancer

FML. 😖 I have just found that 'chemo-induced hypertension' is a thing, and I now have it. Cisplatin; saved my life only to make me die slower. 🙄 #damncancer #cancerlateeffects #stupidcancer @thankscancer.bsky.social

Soo damn frustrated with my Gastroenterologist; she wouldn't acknowledge that my bowel problems (aka radiation enteropathy) were actually caused by Radiotherapy! Oh it's "just" IBS, she says. FFS! Late side effects of cancer treatment ARE A REAL THING!!!! 🤬
