Recycling is the law in most states, and some of us in the U.S. agree with and follow it. If your company super-pastes nonrecyclable labels that require dish soap and scrubbing to remove from otherwise recyclable bottles, we're buying from your competitors. That's lost sales, bub.

Journalists tend to think everyday readers also speak Washingtonese. Editors should keep in mind that most of the audience doesn't know what a "gaggle" is, who or what the "Gang of 8" is or what the House and Senate "whips" do.
