Moss survived in space for nine months, study finds
The moss was attached to the International Space Station, fully exposed to the harsh environment of the cosmos. Not only did the spores endure, but they could still reproduce after returning to Earth.

My considered opinion is that Dan Campbell's taking over play-calling for the Lions was not the best idea. Just six points through three quarters.

Across the street from where I'm sitting is a (really good) Peruvian restaurant. Five large men in black uniforms with guns go in, and you can feel the tension in the area. Five minutes later they come out with bags of food and everybody breathes again.

If this game goes a couple of more innings, Ohtani will be able to tie the MLB record for most times a player was intentionally walked in one game: Andre Dawson five times against the Reds in 1990.

I will confess this game is giving me weird flashbacks to the Rick Camp Game, which was 30 years ago. It ended at 3:55 a.m. when Rick Camp, an Atlanta pitcher who was such a bad hitter that his bat was quarantined whenever it entered California, won it with a homer in the 19th inning.

Stop complaining about the length of this game. Before the 2022 changes, you'd regularly have 9-inning games go this long.

October 28, 2025 at 5:13 AM
Ha! I was just mentioning to someone that the Dodgers remind me of Paris-Saint Germain in how they basically just try to buy the title by smashing the piggy bank to hoard all the talent. Right then, Fox cuts to a shot of Adrián Beltré in the stands — wearing a PSG cap.
