Saw some people worried the Discord AI survey is a password grabber because it wasn't tied to an official post. While the latter is an indication it was probably meant to be internal, the former *was* legit. This can be verified with the same domain being utilized here:

it’s come to my attention that my tumblr post has been crossposted to bluesky, so I’m posting it on my account here #AntiAI #GenAI
recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best. It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

Watch out for the ONE question where they try to trick you by putting "I want AI" as the bottom option where EVERY other question has "I don't want AI" at the bottom!

Redesign and Reference Sheet for 'Citra', a brightly-coloured woman with cat features and patterns based off calico cats. The sheet features multiple different illustrations, including her base 'Chaos Calico' palette and an alternate 'Citra Citrus' palette. Various annotations around the sheet read: "citra is a shapeshifter obsessed with cats. OBSESSED. currently she is fixated on calicos in particular, so she has created a form to resemble them whilst retaining her chaotic nature. she also PRETENDS she's horrible at speaking and all that, but she is actually very fluent in english. she plays a character to make you underestimate her, and nobody really knows why. also no one knows her REAL in-universe origin or why she really exists, but her ability to shapeshift into what can only be described as "comparible to eldritch fiction" makes her true nature... questionable. ((i originally made "oahcitra" back in 2019 or so, as an evil counterpart to my sona. she has had many different iterations over time, but now i really want her to be more of her own thing. so, she is just "citra"! i also call her "sita" sometimes.))" "thanks to the nature of her being a shapeshifter, there's no pressure to get all her patterns and details 100%! she forgets things all the time, so even she herself will mess up her design." i think for 2026 onwards i'm gonna use much looser lineart

it makes the process faster and more fun ^^ with loose linework, i've always felt it looks more human. you can see where i struggle, where i breeze, where i try and try again...

comms n important work will still have cleaner lineart ofc 🙏
