Seeing her daughter's exhausted expression, Aria places her hands on her shoulders and softly pats them, trying to support her as best she can. But very quickly, a smile appears on her face and Isa raises an eyebrow, knowing her mother a little too well not to suspect what she is about to say.

But Damian suddenly exclaims, remembering the play date he had planned for today between Camille and Nath. Isa grits her teeth, suddenly aware of why her mother was so keen for her to pick up Nath, but she doesn't let on. It's not as if she could do that to Nath.

She decides to engage in small talk. It's safe, with no real stakes. But Damian quickly allows himself to crack a few jokes about Aria, and when he seems to catch himself, Isa realises that he is just as uncomfortable as she is, which helps her relax and she bursts out laughing.

Luke barely squeezes through the door and presses himself against it, but Aria can easily hear the loud voices he is trying to escape from. Life in the flat was already hectic with Nath, but it has gotten worse and they are beginning to pay a heavy price, especially Luke, who loves peace and quiet.
