Feels like my birthday, just got Ito Chuta’s 5 vol Book of Ashura (1921). 500 sketches of the FWW with slipcovers. As I’m going the ISFWWS conf soon, here is his impression of the French army arriving in Salonica. I’m planning to translate all captions if I live long enough. @fwwsoc.bsky.social
