A Safflower I found growing on Mill Common Magor. I D confirmed by John Martin. Believed to be first one for VC35.

At Collister late afternoon 24 Whimbrel most flying east, 2 Wheatear and 2 Gadwall. Lesser Whitethroats have arrived in force.

Collister Pill ebbing tide with Milo and 70 Black -tailed Godwits feeding plus 1 Whimbrel.
A Willow Warbler singing for 7 days now in large oak tree on Allotment. Rare to stay that long as they move on from coastal strip very quickly. Would like it to breed there.

High tide at Collister with my 4 legged amigo.Still 290 Curlew and 10 Wigeon. Also 8 Knot,1 Grey Plover,5 Dunlin,28 Redshank,1 Barnacle
Goose,2 Wheatear. Up to 120 Common Gull in adjacent field. Another Willow Warbler in my garden. More local WW March sightings than I've had ever before.
