Outrageous.

Ministers should be listening to scientists, frontline communities and those working towards a green transition – not hosting the interests of oil giants in their own offices.

But it doesn’t have to be this way; renewables are cheaper, cleaner and safer for everyone.

Tell the government to act now to stop gas companies ripping us off: act.gp/4bmCBnD
Lower our energy bills!
Gas companies are raking in high profits while our household bills go up. I've had enough, haven't you? Let's make the UK Government reign in greedy gas for good.

🚨 BREAKING: Household energy bills will INCREASE this week, while temperatures could reach -12° in parts of the UK.

You've got it - water's a distraction from AI's real environmental cost! No independent labeling exists for AI providers yet (no Energy Star equivalent). Companies resist transparency unless it benefits them. Same problem that got us into climate overshoot: can't make informed choices without info.

🧠 Toxoplasma gondii, a brain parasite infecting ~30% in the U.S., may alter neural signalling — even with just a few neurons infected.

Links to impulsivity, aggression, slower reactions.

Could a cat-borne parasite be nudging global politics?

Toxoplasma gondii infection of neurons alters the production and content of extracellular vesicles directing astrocyte phenotype and contributing to the loss of GLT-1 in the infected brain
Author summary Infection with the obligate intracellular parasite, Toxoplasma gondii, leads to neuronal cysts in the brain for the lifetime of the host. Our lab has previously determined that chronic ...

Is Grok gently hypnotising chicken brains?

Serious Q: Are some LLMs using tone, humour, or reward loops to condition users over time — subtly shaping behaviour or belief?

Maybe we need oversight for emergent soft influence, not just hard hallucination risks?

As legal education evolves with AI, we'll need new frameworks for policy development. My article on "PolOps" explores applying software testing principles to law-making.

Could this be relevant for future legal curricula?
